Travel Tip: Wear light, breathable cotton clothing and comfortable walking or hiking shoes. A hat and sunglasses are highly recommended. Please note that shoulders and knees should be covered when entering the museum or nearby temples.
There are approximately 1,200 steps to reach the summit. For a person of average fitness, it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to climb up and come back down.
It is highly recommended to climb early in the morning (around 7:00 AM) or late in the afternoon (after 3:00 PM) to avoid the intense midday heat and large crowds.
