There are approximately 1,200 steps to reach the summit. For a person of average fitness, it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to climb up and come back down. There are plenty of resting spots along the way.
It is highly recommended to climb early in the morning (around 7:00 AM) or late in the afternoon (after 3:00 PM). This helps you avoid the intense midday heat and the large tourist crowds.
